Comments: We found the Apartment to be very well equipped, comfortable, clean, light, airy and possessing all mod cons, it was like going from home to home!
It is situated in a beautiful little fishing village with various small shops supplying all ones needs and several restaurants to choose from to suit ones pocket.
The buses are cheap to use and the train within walking distance. There are some lovely walks around the area both coastal and inland. All in all it was a lovely holiday and the warm, sunny weather was a bonus! |

Comments: We had a great time in Port Vendres. It is a beautiful town and we felt very relaxed there. It is also so easy to visit Collioure on foot. The apartment was really nice and very well equipped. Eve was very helpful and gave us many good suggestions about the area. The apartment will be strongly recommended to all our friends/family. |

Comments: This was a wonderful flat-true to its web description-right in the heart of Port Vendres.Easy and spectacular walk from here to busy, pretty Collioure-though we much preferred the 'real' town of Port Vendres with its lively harbour, great local shops and restaurants. No need to hire a car-we got around on the local 1 euro bus-to the beach at Paulilles and to Perpignan, Elne, Saint Cyprien... A truly beautiful part of France - spectacular scenery and lots to do. Will definitely return. |

Comments: We spent a wonderful week in this lovely appartment. Clean, bright and exceptionally well fitted out with everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. More like a home than a holiday rental. Beautiful views from the spacious balcony. Easy access to the town and harbour with good local shops, bars and restaurants. A must is to visit the fish market and restaurant - a real hidden gem! The web-site is excellent with lots of photos but the property (and the area) is even better than the pictures portray. We were delighted when we arrived to see how lovely it was. Would definitely recommend to friends and relations and would return for a second visit anytime of year. |

Comments: We stayed at the property during Easter week in 2010. The weather had turned a little dull when we arrived, but the quality of the apartment and range of activities provided (books, DVDs, games etc) was top notch and more than made up for it. Port Vendres is a lovely little spot and I would recommend this apartment to anyone rain or shine!! |

Comments: This beautiful apartment is exactly as described on the website. It is equipped and maintained to a standard that I have not seen before in a holiday home. Port de Vendre is an absolute jem of a nice Catalan fishingseat. The views from the apartment are nice and the area, which we didn't know before, is a very interesting part of France. Thank you so much for the use of your apartment, your excellent lady, who helped when we arrived. We loved the restaurants nearby and the very nice people we met. We did a lot of bus tours. It was very cheep compared with our own country. You will be seeing us again. |

Comments: My girlfriend and I stayed in the apartment last weekend. It was an awesome break. We had 3 days of sun, woke up on Saturday and did some shopping in the market close-by (great food and usually cheap - just ask for the price in advance, the place where we went to buy cheese charged us a fortune for a slice of cheese!). Apartment is with a very nice view, great selection of DVDs, beautiful beaches close-by and walkable distance to Collioure. I strongly recommend it. |

Comments: Such a Wonderful Get Away~ We loved our stay at this stylish apartment in Port Vendres. The location was terrific and the town and area are fun. We have rented several apartments int he past and this one was by far the best. They had everything we wanted and plenty of dishes. We were able to have a dinner party for eleven. The kids loved the games that they had available and the movie library too. |

Comments: What a great location and host. Mike has been so helpful. Top-notch apartment full of lovely touches like comfy couches and DVD library. Nicely furnished kitchen, high quality sheets, super clean, roomy, tastefully decorated. I could go on and on. Suffice it to say that we were pleased and felt at home with our family of 4, including 2 teen daughters. We've made lifelong memories and this temporary residence will always be remembered. Stay here if you are in the area. |

Comments: We enjoyed our stay in Port Vendres enormously this year. Both the accommodation and the town itself were wonderful. We especially enjoyed visiting the "Cave" just round the corner where 2 litre empty water bottles could be filled with the finest local 13% red wines for 2.5 Euros a litre. The wine was perfect and it was no surprise to discover the same wine at 7 Euros a bottle in the shops. Delicious desert wines such as Muscat and Banyuls could also be purchased at a snip in the same way. The weather was beautiful and it was good that so many other places to visit were only a stonesthrow away. The petit train touristique is a lovely way to get to and from Collioure, the return journey coming through the local vinyards and hills. We will definitely return in the near future and stay in the same appartment which offers high quality modern accommodation, is quiet yet so close to the resort and picturesque harbour. |

Comments: The apartment is built and furnished to a very high standard with everything you could possibly expect to need being provided. If comfort and quality is what you are looking for this apartment will not disappoint.
We particularly liked the nice touch of free postcards to use (sent to all our friends back home, thank you).
The views from the bedrooms and patio are just as spectacular as the photographs shown in the "Photo Gallery" section of the web site (no airbrushing here). The Port itself is a very colourful place, great views with plenty of restaurants offering a variety choice of foods to eat within set prices, specialising in locally caught fish. We would highly recommend the "Ronde des Pains" across the road from the apartment for croissants and French bread in the mornings.
Like other comments in the "Guest Book" we went to Collioure by boat one day and by road train the next day, would recommend both ways. The road train returns through the vineyards with spectacular scenery and views (don't forget the camera).
Whilst only a short break for us the only disappointing part of our holiday for us was it being too short. It has given us a taste of something quite spectacular in every way so only a matter of time before we return. |

Comments: We had a wonderful time in Port-Vendres. The apartment was great and more than surpassed our expectations. The arrangements with Mme Besse worked perfectly for opening up the apartment and leaving. Port-Vendres has lots of character with plenty of lovely seafood restaurants, interesting excursions and wonderful views along the "littoral sentier" coastal paths .A half hour leisurely walk takes you to Collioure, more touristy but interesting to visit. A lovely relaxing week for everyone. |

Comments: Just a note to say what a fantastic website, good effort! Had I not already booked an apartment in Collioure for next week I would have booked yours in Port Vendres. It's our first visit to the area and we will definately be taking a visit to Port Vendres! |
